A lot of specialists and scientists believe that unpredictable natural disasters and several man-caused catastrophes that struck Europe and Asia in the summer of the year 2002 say that there might be certain global reasons that caused them all. First and foremost, it goes about a possibility of secret geophysical weapon tests. Those tests were either secret or unauthorized. The Russian Federation State Duma spent almost a year, considering the global threat of the HAARP program. The Duma finally prepared two addresses: to President Putin and to the UN, international organizations, parliaments and governments of all countries, to the scientific community of the world, as well as to mass media. The Russian parliament suggested the global banning of HAARP tests. In September of the year 2002 the State Duma of Russia discussed this question and conducted the voting in order to send the mentioned addresses to the adequate addressees. One hundred and eighty-eight deputies voted for the address to President Vladimir Putin, whereas the same subject for the UN returned 220 votes. This proved that Russian parliamentarians were rather concerned about the development and possible use of geophysical weapons.

I am so tired..... I haven't slept a wink....

I was already lying in my bed... I couldn't sleep... I am restless... Why? Usually being restless is
a sign of change... I like change and i fear it as well... Guess what: positive change is what i am most afraid of!! It has been a bumpy ride so far, so when i am at the end of my 'metal road' standing in front of a fresh tarred high way, i hesitate!

hesitates, masturbates'. You see, the only cure for being so serious about everything is having a
friend around who takes nothing seriously!
Anyway, i was still lying, eyes wide open, in my bed thinking about categories... So i got up and tagged all my post in order to get them categorized with del.icio.us... Not the best way I can think of, but the best i am capable of, with my newbie knowledge of html... Did you notice I sometimes write capital 'I' and sometimes the little 'i' . This is inconsistent, but i just
wonder why should i write I? Am I better? Or am I / i the only one wondering about this??

The eye of God

This is a picture taken by NASA with the Hubble telescope. They are referring to it as the "Eye of God". I thought it was beautiful and worth sharing.

Comments: This is indeed an authentic photograph — or rather, composite of photos — taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. It was featured on NASA's Website as an Astronomy Picture of the Day in May 2003 and thereafter posted on a number of Websites under the title "The Eye of God" (though I couldn't find evidence that NASA has ever referred to it as such). The awe-inspiring image has also been featured on magazine covers and in articles about space imagery.
The image depicts the so-called Helix Nebula, described by astronomers as "a trillion-mile-long tunnel of glowing gases." At its center is dying, Sun-like star which has ejected masses of dust and gas to form tentacle-like filaments stretching toward an outer rim composed of the same material. The Sun itself may look like this in several billion years.

This summer I went to Indonesia for the first time, my mother, my daughter and me. We visited our family and I understand more about myself after being with them. I lost the blog addresses of a person, who's blog I would like to visit, every now and then. I changed templates and lost him! His name is Abhi, if I write it the right way... I cannot find his blog with the search machine either. Did he delete his blog? Anyway, although I post comments on other blogs, I don't get a reaction back! Now I think of going somewhere else, maybe just a Dutch weblog... I like to go international, since I traveled a lot, but if there is no response it gets a bit boring...

Is there something wrong with my blog? Isn't interesting, or are you missing something here?

He told me a story (one of many) when he was trying to break through in N.Y. that a few blokes where trying to rob him and he started to rap this song: 'don't push me, cause i'm close to the edge.... am trying not to loose my head huhuhuhu.... They left him, i think he looked mad enough!

His name is Rick Peterson and he plays gitar like he... anyway, I don't get to much into details here...I hitchiked with him through the jungle of Brazil when i was 19 and he 39.... We had no money, no food, no hitchhike to catch .... there was only a metal road leading us into the dark.....

He has been seen in Paris a year ago by another friend...

Vrouwen die in Afghanistan voetballen, nemen risico’s. Vier en een half jaar na de val van de fundamentalistische Taliban zijn er in Kabul alleen al achttien vrouwelijke voetbalteams.
Een kleine patio met daaromheen een hoge muur van leem. Een waslijn die dwars over de binnenplaats hangt. Zo ziet de trainingsplek van het beste vrouwelijke voetbalteam van Afghanistan eruit. De spelers van het Maiwandteam uit de hoofdstad Kabul kunnen hier hoogstens de bal wat heen en weer trappen, meer ruimte is er niet. Een sprintje trekken is onmogelijk, daarvoor is het veld te klein. Toch is dit hun enige kans om buiten te trainen. Het voetbalstadion is voor vrouwenteams verboden terrein, daar kunnen mannen toekijken en dat is niet toegestaan. Vrouwenvoetbal in Afghanistan: dat is ook in het post-Taliban tijdperk alleen in het verborgene mogelijk.
“Wie als vrouw voetbalt, moet moedig zijn”, zegt de 21-jarige Khadija die als teamcaptain verantwoordelijk is voor de organisatie: ze regelt de voetbalshirts, plekken om te slapen bij uitwedstrijden en de dagen en tijden wanneer er getraind wordt. Haar durf blijkt ook uit haar keuze voor de opleiding tot politieagent. Ze volgt haar lessen aan de politie-akademie in het westen van Kabul. Het Maiwandteam mag in de sporthal van de akademie trainen, veilig afgeschermd van mannelijke blikken. Toch wordt ook binnen getraind in broeken tot aan de enkels en lange mouwen en blijft de hoofddoek om. “Westerse kleding dragen zou levensgevaarlijk zijn”, zegt Khadija.
